The Cow-Calf producer will be responsible for keeping accurate records on the birth, health, nutritional practices, weaning, and selling of the animal. These records will be important for the development of the animal throughout the remainder of the process.
The stocker will be responsible for tracking where the animals were purchased from, recording their nutritional and health practices, and where the animal is eventually sold. This means they will need to record any antibiotics used,as well as, the animals food for the duration of this process.
The feedlot grower will be responsible for where the animal was purchased, the health and nutrition, and the packer where the animal was sold to.
